ELLE FRAN WILLIAMS  has 20 books in her catalogue, most of them 'light weight' detective stories, but all of them with a deep interest in people, their pluses and minuses.

Elle Fran's influences are mainly Irish - and many of her stories have either an Irish background or a leaning towards Irish characters and personalities.  Some good, some bad, some taciturn, some wild story tellers.  

Elle Fran's background is in Social Science, with a portfolio that includes such diverse groups as prolific offenders, addicts, and juvenile offenders to children in care, people with dementia and performers in the entertainment industry.  

Elle Fran has three children, and six multi-racial grandchildren, all of them a delight with their own hopes, dreams and talents to see them onwards and upwards for the future.

Elle  Fran has more than a passing interest in the political and social scene, and at least two of her books (The End of the Rainbow) and (The Savage Sea of Dreams) are what one might call 'faction' ... combining real life issues with a fictional story line.

However .... all are 'easy read' and not biblical or educating ... if they have a message it is not oppressive and most certainly not preachng!
